## Specialist group notes
- MCX software and communication platforms: Roles differ considerably: for some companies, test reports evidence specific server or client functions. Participating with one component does not yet describe a complete offering for railway operations.
- Further network vendors: For international offerings, the specification context is particularly important: a solution marketed as FRMCS or 5G-R is not, by that designation alone, demonstrably compliant with all European FRMCS requirements.
- Components and integration: These contributions are relevant for system integration. However, their respective development, delivery and approval status must be assessed at product level.
- Test, measurement and validation: Test systems help verify interfaces and performance. Their role differs from providing an operational communication system.
