Understand, Apply, Design: the three levels of the FRMCS Atlas learning paths.

The new FRMCS Atlas learning area turns a broad and evolving subject into a structured path: 48 lessons across the three levels Understand, Apply and Design.

What is the value?

Instead of approaching FRMCS through isolated documents, readers can build knowledge step by step. The lessons connect technical foundations, standards, migration and operational questions, while maintaining a continuous comparison with GSM-R and EIRENE. Source references make the supporting material traceable; self-checks, initially collapsed model answers and a final task for each level help readers test understanding and transfer it to planning and operations.

Who are the learning paths for?

The paths are intended for specialists and decision-makers at railway undertakings and infrastructure managers, technical integrators and suppliers, and project, programme and operations teams. The first level also provides an entry point for readers who are new to railway radio and FRMCS.

Start the learning path or read the revision note for the documented scope and limits.

The learning area is educational guidance, not professional certification or a conformity assessment. Progress is stored only in the current browser on the current device.
