1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is: [Name/company, street, postal code, city, Switzerland — to be completed], contact: [E-Mail — bitte ergänzen].

This policy informs you, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and — where applicable — the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), about the processing of personal data on this website.

2. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Lovable; delivery is via a content delivery network (Cloudflare). When you visit the website, technically necessary connection data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) is processed in server logs. This data is used to operate the website securely and reliably and is not merged with other data sources.

The legal basis under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Briefing (newsletter)

If you subscribe to the FRMCS briefing, we store your email address and the time of registration. Registration is voluntary; the email address is used exclusively for sending the editorial briefing and is not passed on to third parties.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — by email to [E-Mail — bitte ergänzen]. After withdrawal we delete your email address from the recipient list.

The briefing is currently a waitlist: registrations are recorded, but no emails (including confirmation emails) are sent and there is no automated unsubscribe link yet. Until a contact email is published, deletion can be requested via the contact form on the About page.

Correction reports: if you use the correction form, we store the page address, your message, an optional source URL, an optional email address and a shortened one-way hash of your connection address (for abuse prevention, rate limiting). Legal basis: legitimate interest in accurate content (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. No cookies, no tracking

This website uses no analytics or marketing cookies and no cross-user tracking. No personal data is shared for advertising purposes.

5. Retention period

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose: briefing data until withdrawal, server logs for a short, technically customary period.

6. Your rights

Under the applicable law you have, in particular, the right of access to the data stored about you, the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to withdraw consent given.

To exercise your rights, an email to [E-Mail — bitte ergänzen] is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU the data protection authority of your state of residence.

7. Changes

We may amend this privacy policy if the data processing or the legal situation changes. The version published on the website applies.
